Giulia y Chiara, dos mujeres jóvenes enamoradas, deciden tener un niño. Pero dado que la legislación italiana no permite a parejas del mismo sexo procrear vía inseminación artificial, las mujeres tienen que viajar a Holanda para recibir asistencia. Mientras están a la espera de empezar el procedimiento aparecen obstáculos en su camino que ponen su amor a prueba.

Giulia and Chiara, a young lesbian couple, have decided that they want to have a child. But because Italian law does not allow same-sex couples to procreate through artificial insemination, the women must travel to Holland to take part in the procedure. As they wait to find out when they can begin the process, obstacles begin to appear in their way and put their love to a strong test.
