Faybien Allen, un atractivo joven negro, idealista, pero cauto homosexual, comienza un viaje para descubrir quién es y cómo encaja en el mundo. Durante el mismo, se da cuenta de que no tiene ninguna meta de futuro. Además, siente que nunca conseguirá la aprobación de su padre porque es gay. Sin la posibilidad de contar con el apoyo familiar, busca la complicidad de sus amigos.

Faybien Allen, a young black, idealistic, yet cautious homosexual begins a journey in finding out who he is and how he fits in the world. He struggles with the fact he has no future goals, and that he will never gain the approval of his father because he´s gay. Seeing how he can´t turn to his family for help he has created a support system through his extended family: his friends.
